Request your claim form

Our partner will send you a form. Please make sure to include your radicant IBAN – you can find it in your app, for example. This allows our insurance partner to confirm that you're covered through us.

Simply fill it out and send it off!

Complete the form in full and send it back to our insurance partner. They will take care of processing your claim as quickly as possible.

4.

Double-check for good measure

For security, our partner will validate your information with us. We will then confirm that, as a radicant client, you are automatically insured.

5.

In the best hands

Once we give the green light, our insurance partner takes over. The professionals there will handle everything else and keep you updated.

Quick final check

When the claim is settled and the case is closed, we'll check in with you one last time. We just want to make sure everything went to your expectations.

FAQ

What are the requirements for insurance coverage?
To qualify for insurance coverage of cancellations, trip interruptions, luggage or rental car excess, radicant clients must ensure that at least 50% of the cost for all purchased or booked travel components (e.g. including flights, train tickets, accommodations, rental cars, event tickets) is via the radicant debit card. If a min. of 50% of the respective cost for individual items is paid with radicant debit card, those items are covered by our travel insurance. Coverage for health-related issues is provided without this requirement.
How do I activate my free travel insurance?
Travel insurance is automatically active as soon as you pay at least 50% of your travel costs via your radicant debit card. A separate activation is not necessary.
What types of trips and vacations are covered?
The travel insurance covers all types of trips (holiday, city trips, etc.). It applies to private trips lasting up to 90 days, starting when the insured person leaves home and ending upon return. The trip must include an overnight stay or be more than 30 km from the residence. Business and medical trips are excluded.
Is there a maximum limit for the insurance coverage?
The insurance coverage limits for each insurance product are outlined in the Insurance Conditions.

Which insurance products are included?
The following products are included in the travel insurance.



Trip cancellation
Reimbursement of costs for cancellation of a trip due to an insured event
Sum insured = CHF 20,000

Trip interruption
Reimbursement of costs for additional travel expenses and/or unused portion in the event of interruption or extension of a trip
Sum insured = CHF 20,000

Assistance (repatriation)
Organisation and reimbursement of costs for transport and/or repatriation due to a medical emergency
Sum insured = CHF 250,000

Medical expenses abroad
Reimbursement of medical expenses abroad that exceed the benefits provided by the health insurance company
Sum insured = CHF 250,000

Search & rescue costs
Reimbursement of costs for search and rescue while travelling
Sum insured = CHF 100,000

Luggage
Protection of luggage against theft, loss and damage
Sum insured = CHF 2,000

Car hire excess (CDW)
Assumption of the excess on hired vehicles
Sum insured = CHF 10,000
How much time do I have to file a claim?
Generally, radicant clients have up to 5 years to file a claim for insurance reimbursments. However, it is always adviseable - and for certain specific events it is even a precondition - to get in contact with the insurance partner as quickly as possible if any issues arise that could potentially result in an insurance claim.
