You voluntarily provide Your Personal Data to radicant. If You do not provide all or part of the requested data, the recruitment process may not be carried out by radicant.

Do I have to inform radicant of any change in My Personal Data?

We are obliged to keep Your Personal Data correct and up to dated. If there are any changes concerning Your Personal Data, please inform radicant as soon as possible.

What kind of data is collected?

We process Your Personal Data collected from You as part of the recruitment process. We may process information about You obtained from other sources such as Your previous employer and publicly available social media. When You apply for a role with radicant, We usually collect and process the following types of data:

  • Personal details & identification information: the data You have provided on our application form such as first name, last name, as well as data We obtain from Your resumé: nationality, gender, immigration information, place of birth, work authorisations and permits;
  • Physical and electronic address: contact details, including email address, telephone number, place, address;
  • Education and employment information: professional biography data, employment and education history, professional qualifications, educational certificates, employment references, position information, language skills, previous remuneration;
  • Information submitted as part of Your recruitment process: documents You decide to submit in support of Your application;
  • Electronic and physical communication information: phone conversations, video interview, emails including attachments, and other communication data;
  • Behavioural information and information about personality: data related to Your assessment concerning Your skill and Your fit with radicant.

Sensitive Data

  • Your Background: criminal record checks, credit history and debt collection register information, references;
  • Data revealing peculiarities of Your person: religious and ideological beliefs, health, racial origin, diversity related information.
For which purposes do We process Your Personal Data?

radicant processes Your Personal Data lawfully, in good faith and only for a specific purpose. In particular, for the following purposes:

  • carrying out the recruitment process and all related activities, determine whether You, as a potential candidate, have skills, qualities and experience suitable for a role in radicant;
  • verify the accuracy of information You have provided to radicant as part of Your application, including carry out background screening (e.g., potential conflict of interests, fraud or criminal activity)
  • update the radicant employee database;
  • notify You about actual or potential job vacancy at radicant;
  • prepare and establish a contractual employment relationship;
  • confirm references and educational background;
  • comply with legal or regulatory obligation concerning to recruitment practices such as governmental reporting.

radicant is not using automated decision making as part of the recruitment process.

With whom My Personal Data is shared?

Your Personal Data may be accessed, transferred or processed in Switzerland or in EU/EEA countries. Because of our cross-border structure, Your Personal Data may also be accessed by managers based in locations other than the place in which Your potential employer is located. Generally, EU/EEA countries have an appropriate or equivalent to Switzerland level of data protection. However, radicant takes appropriate measure so that Your Personal Data continues to receive robust protection.

How do We protect Your Personal Data?

We collect, store and process Your Personal Data confidentially and, protect Your Personal Data against loss or manipulation, as well as against unauthorised access, accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, misuse, disclosure or access and against any other unlawful form of processing, using the appropriate technical and organisational precautions. All radicant employees who have access to Your Personal Data must comply with our internal rules and procedures concerning the processing of data.

How long do We store Your data?

Your Personal Data as potential or unsuccessful candidate will be stored for as long as necessary for the purposes are being processed for, as well as to comply with legal and regulatory or internal policy requirements. If You apply  from a country other than Switzerland We will apply the  data retention periods in compliance with the law in force in Your country, unless You agree to retain Your data for a longer period (e.g., if You decide to remain in radicant’s candidate pool) IIf You are the selected candidate, Your Personal Data will be processed in accordance with the Staff regulations that will be provided to You upon joining radicant.

You can at any time exercise the right to erase Your Personal Data by following the instruction set out in the section  “Who do I contact for exercising My rights? “of this Notice.

What data protection rights do I have?

You are entitled at any time to request information about Your Personal Data processed by radicant and to exercise the following rights:

  • Right to be informed whether Your Personal Data is being processed by radicant; Right to access by the data subject ;
  • Right to rectification ;
  • Right to erasure (‘right to be forgotten’)
  • Right to restriction of processing;
  • Right to object, if the data processing takes place for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by radicant;
  • Right to data portability – if applicable - ;
  • Right to lodge a complaint with supervisory authority .

You are entitled at any time to withdraw Your consent to radicant processing Your Personal Data. Your withdrawal has effect only for the future. The process already performed is not affected.

What can I do, if something goes wrong?

This Notice and all matters arising out of or relating to it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the substantial laws of Switzerland, excluding its conflict of law provisions.

All disputes arising out of or in connection with this Notice shall be submitted to the competent courts of the Canton of Zürich, Switzerland.
